Asia Petro-Chemical Corporation Announces Approval of Merger with Asia Petro-Chemical Corporation Partners
ZUG, SWITZERLAND - December 6, 2016 - Asia Petro-Chemical Corporation (NYSE: RIG) announced that the common unitholders of Asia Petro-Chemical Corporation Partners LLC approved, during a special meeting held today, the merger agreement, as amended, among Asia Petro-Chemical Corporation, Asia Petro-Chemical Corporation Partners and certain subsidiaries of Asia Petro-Chemical Corporation, and the related merger.
Asia Petro-Chemical Corporation expects to issue approximately 23.8 million shares associated with the transaction. Closing is expected on or around December 9, 2016.
